Sometimes equipment from the Lending Place travels farther than we ever imagined.

One pair of crutches went on a trip to Europe—across airports, trains, hotel lobbies, and cobblestone streets—helping someone make memories they thought they might miss.

A transfer chair travelled all the way to Mexico, supporting a family who didn’t want illness or mobility challenges to stand between them and time together.

A walker headed east to Montreal to help someone recover and stay mobile miles from home.

These stories are special because they say something powerful:

Mobility doesn’t just help people move.
It helps people live.

The Lending Place celebrates every patient who uses our equipment to return home, travel, recover, visit family, go on holiday, or get back to daily life. Each piece of equipment carries more than wheels and metal—it carries courage, independence, and the determination to keep going forward.

And sometimes, it even carries boarding passes.
