Physiotherapists and occupational therapists are a crucial bridge between the Lending Place and the people who need support. They see every day how the right equipment can mean the difference between staying home safely or remaining in hospital.
One of our local therapists wrote to us about the importance of the Lending Place:

Having a community-run organization dedicated to lending free medical equipment makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the individuals we support.”

“Your program reduces financial barriers, promotes safety, and allows community members to maintain independence during times of injury, illness, or transition.”
Therapists like Lindsey, Megan, and the Camrose and surrounding communities OT/PT teams trust that when they refer someone to the Lending Place, equipment will be available now—not in six weeks. Their compassion and professional expertise help families stay safe, recover at home, and live with dignity.
How to participate:
