About Us

Our community has come together to address a crucial need: ensuring that every person has access to medical equipment and mobility equipment.

By rescuing and refurbishing equipment that would otherwise end up in landfills, we give these essential items a new life and provide them to those in need at no cost.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our amazing volunteers and the generous donations from our community members, we ensure that everyone can maintain their independence and dignity.

Together, we are creating a more caring and inclusive community.

Repair Shop: Do you have some experience and are handy with small tools and mechanically inclined? Maybe the repair shop would interest you.

Casual Opportunities: Don’t have a lot of time but want to lend a hand occasionally? We are looking for energetic people that would like to help occasionally with Special Events or special projects.

Time commitment: Volunteers are needed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Morning and afternoon shifts are available. Only have a few hours? Only available part of the year? We still want to hear from you.

What the community has to say:

Thank you so very much for bringing us a walker for our little daughter. The independence and freedom the walker afforded her made a huge impact on her happiness (and her mother’s back) as she recovered from her broken leg. She was able to return to kindergarten, visit the library, go to church, join her class at the Tyrrell Museum, and cruise and dance around the house at will. Thank you for swapping the wheels so that the height would suit a little girl. We appreciate your help more than we can express. What a difference it made!

Graham & Laura B.

Thank you for lending me the walker. It helped.

What We Do

We collect donated mobility equipment and lend it to community members who would otherwise go without.

All medical equipment is thoroughly inspected and sanitized before lending. We complete a comprehensive inspection to ensure it is in good working order and to document any cosmetic damages.

Our Supporters

We would like to thank all of our supporters that have helped us get established.

Specifically, we would like to say thank you to: The Rotary Club of Camrose (#0953), The Family Thrift Store of Camrose, the Camrose Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, and all who have made anonymous donations.

We look forward to serving Camrose and surrounding communities throughout the future.
