Our office helpers come from near and far, each bringing their own experience and heart to the Lending Place. Dave is originally from Victoria, Leona is local to Camrose, Susan is from Toronto, and Christine comes all the way from South Africa. Their backgrounds are different, but their purpose is the same: to serve, welcome, and support every person who walks through our doors.

Together, they provide front office support, help with paperwork and filing, answer questions, assist families, and take on every imaginable odd job that keeps the Lending Place running smoothly.

Leona and Susan were instrumental in planning our first Pickleball Tournament last spring, and they have already jumped in to help organize tournament #2. Dave works on programming and building the spreadsheets that track everything from clients to deposits to donations. Christine brings the bright smile that lights up the office—she is currently coordinating a plan to send excess walkers to an organization in Namibia.

Warm, friendly, and welcoming, they are the perfect greeting for someone arriving in a moment of need. They offer reassurance, encouragement, and practical support, helping people feel at home from the moment they arrive.
