Julie has been with the Lending Place since the beginning. She first served on the Board of Directors and later stepped into a part-time role to help guide and grow the organization. Her passion for people, community, and connection is at the centre of everything she does.

Julie’s favourite part of this work is simple: people. She loves meeting families, supporting volunteers, welcoming donors, and creating a space where every person feels valued, respected, and supported. One of her favorite sayings is, “People need people.” And that belief is reflected every day in how the Lending Place operates.

Julie has lived in Camrose for 15 years and loves the community and the landscape that surrounds it. She believes strongly in the importance of this service—making sure families have safe, reliable mobility equipment when they need it most, and making sure the Lending Place remains a welcoming resource for everyone.

Her leadership, care, and vision help ensure that every person who walks through the door is treated with dignity and kindness.
