Twelve Days of Christmas Gratitude
On the first day of Christmas
a gift of care was shown
Carrie-Lee cleans every piece
so no one walks alone
On the second day of Christmas
our neighbours gave again
Len and Brian mend and fix
to help each child and friend
On the third day of Christmas
compassion echoed through
Julie leads with heart and says
“We walk this road with you”
On the fourth day of Christmas
we’re grateful every day
Office helpers welcome guests
and guide them on their way
On the fifth day of Christmas,
their giving has been shown,
By Bob and many others,
people heal safe at home.
On the sixth day of Christmas,
the therapists agree,
Six steps steadier and stronger…
thanks to mobility!
On the seventh day of Christmas,
courage walked beside,
Travelling crutches carried hope
through every step and stride.
On the eighth day of Christmas,
leadership came through,
With champions of our mission
who know this work is true.
On the ninth day of Christmas,
generosity grew strong,
With partners in our corner
who help us all along.
On the tenth day of Christmas,
support came from the start,
From businesses and partners
with kindness in their heart.
On the eleventh day of Christmas,
support filled every pew,
With churches in our corner
who share this mission too.
On the twelfth day of Christmas,
with wisdom, heart, and grace,
Our board helped build a future
for this generous, caring place.
